Reading Recreation and USPTA Tennis Professional Gregg Luongo are teaming up again to bring you this spring time favorite. The Spring program is a great way to introduce or build upon existing skills.

The Spring program consists of 6 group lessons on a weekly basis. Participants may choose any day or days during the week Monday through Friday throughout May and June. Registration is on a first come, first serve basis. Average ratio of participants to instructors in a given session will be a minimum of 3:1 and a maximum of 8:1. Rain Dates will be accommodated as needed throughout the summer sessions.

The Jr. Development II program is for children ages 9-11 who are ready to learn and develop basic fundamentls of forehands, backhands, serves and volleys for practice drills and skill games. Players at the higher level will be developing skills in rallying, control and point play.

About the Instructor: Gregg Luongo has been a Professional Tennis Instructor for 27 years. He is a certified member of the United States Professional Tennis Association (USPTA), and played as the #1 singles player for Reading High School and The University Of New Hampshire. Currently, Gregg is a Tennis Pro at Bass River Tennis Club in Beverly, MA.

LOCATION: Please note that all Spring tennis programs are held at the Memorial Park tennis courts.  Once the RMHS Tennis team finishes their season, the program may be moved to the Reading Community Tennis Courts at the High School.
