App Inventors Online (Grades 5-7)

Circuit Lab will be running this virtual program via Zoom meeting. All students will need to have the zoom app installed on their Androd tablet prior to the class to connect to the meeting link. Participants will get the Zoom links prior to the start of the program.  The cost of the program is $162/participant.  Android tablets available for rental if families do not already have one for a rental fee of $70 ($60 refundable, $10 retained for cleaning/delivery). 

Want to know how the apps work on your phone or iPad?  Or do you already have the next great app idea, and just need to know how to make it?  In this no-experience-required program, we use MIT App Inventor software to program Android apps to respond to user inputs, read data from the environment, and design interactive games.  Participants will learn both the programming and design aspects of creating great apps, and have the opportunity to build apps of their own with the support of Circuit Lab instructors.
